I wish I could draw,...but it's nice to know that there are amazing artists out there who show their love of all things Spidey 2099 by making fan art. J. A.Parker (@Achooniverse) is a prime example of this, with his drawing of Spider-Man 2099, which is pretty fantastic. You get the sense of motion, and vivid color, in true comic fashion. I'm sure Spidey would be proud.

RecklessHero is now my hero, alright. They have come out with a mounted print of our beloved Spidey 2099, and he looks like he's about to show someone not to mess with his web. This is an original design print, mounted for a 12” x 16” frame.

A lot of people hate variant covers on comic books, but if they're done well and they feature great artwork, I love them. This variant cover for Spider-Man 2099 #3 falls into that 'love it' category. Featuring artwork by John Tyler Christopher, the cover gives you a nice, close-up look at Spider 2099.

Another day, another Spider-Man 2099 cover by Franceso Mattina. Will Sliney also shared this cover to issue #5.  After seeing these two covers, I'd love to see Mattina doing this on a regular basis.

Will Sliney shared this awesome cover on Twitter for Spider-Man 2099 #4 by Francesco Mattina. This cover also features Sliney's redesign of Scorpion. It should be fun seeing Miguel take on some classic Spidey villains.

Springfield Punx is a website featuring artwork by Dean T. Fraser, where he re-imagines pop culture figures as Simpsons characters. The image below is a Springfield version of Spider-Man 2099 that looks like it jumped straight out of The Simpsons. 

Will Sliney, artist on the new Spider-Man 2099 series, appeared at Special Edition NYC. I took the opportunity to order this awesome Spidey commission from him and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. I'm hoping the series sees a long run with Peter David and Will at the helm.
