That's right, a brand new comic out this May! Peter David and Will Sliney are at it again. This means the current Spider-Man 2099 comic will come to an end, and the story will continue in Secret Wars 2099.

Due out on the 27th, there's still a while to wait, but no worries! We have a sneak peek at the cover, by Dave Rapoza, and penciled by Sliney.

A recent Newsarama-exclusive has released a sneak peek into the Spider-Verse tie-in Spider-Man 2099. Spider-Man 2099 and Lady Spider must reunite with the rest of the spiders in time for the final battle against the Inheritors! But this begs the question, who will survive the Spider-Verse?! Will Miguel finally be able to return home? And by “home” do we mean 2099 or 2014?

The issue will be 32 pages, rated Teen. We don't know about you, but we're definitely excited over here. So many questions, so little time. Will they all be answered, or will we be forced to wait even longer? Only one way to find out!

Yes, you read that right. As some of you may know, Marvel has been teasing quite a few storylines for summer, one of them being Future Imperfect. In this series, there was a nuclear war that wiped out most of the Earth’s super-humans allowing a future version of the Hulk - Maestro - to to seize control and rule. Of course, this led to a confrontation between Hulk and the Maestro. Only now, thanks to Peter David, it seems as though Spider-Man 2099 will be incorporated! The tease for the issue shows Maestro holding Spidey's head, and the caption on the bottom reads “Miguel O’Hara returns to the year 2099 to discover that his future is now… imperfect!”

Does this means more dreams are coming true? Possibly.

A recently published article by Newsarama revealed some interesting news on the upcoming Spidey 2099 comic, #6. Written by Peter David, with the cover art designed by Francesco Mattina, the issue is supposed to pick up where Amazing Spider-Man #10 ends, with Miguel O'Hara back in 2099.

Details reveal that Spider-Man 2099, Lady Spider, and the six-armed Spidey run for their precious lives. What from, you ask? Why the Inheritors, of course.

A mysterious cover has been released! @WillSliney on Twitter posted this interesting picture that arose a lot of speculation. But don't worry, we here at Spidey 2099 do our research. This cover art is by Francesco Mattina, the writing is by Peter David and the comic art is by Sliney, of course. All that's been said is that it's a 32 page comic where Spidey and Lady Spider (steampunk) dissect Daemos of the Inheritors. Hmm....

Back in 1992, Peter David and Rick Leonardi made a webcrawler, and guess what? It's back. Get ready for October 22, fans, because it's going to pick up right where issue #4 left off. Issue #5  will focus on Miguel O' Hara facing off with Morlun, being stuck in present-day New York, and making his way to 2099! I definitely can't wait, can you?

I don't think anyone understands my love of Deadpool. I mean, people know, but they don't know, except for Greg Land, apparently. His cover, paying homage to John Romita Sr.'s The Amazing Spider-Man #121 cover, replaces all of Peter Parker's loved ones with Deadpool, which personally, I wouldn't mind. Written by Peter David, interior drawn by Will Sliney, this amazing variant goes on sale on October 1st. I know what I'm getting that day.

A lot of people hate variant covers on comic books, but if they're done well and they feature great artwork, I love them. This variant cover for Spider-Man 2099 #3 falls into that 'love it' category. Featuring artwork by John Tyler Christopher, the cover gives you a nice, close-up look at Spider 2099.
