Even though it's a work-in-progress for now, this is the most epic checklist up to date. It's got all the updates from previous checklists, but it's also been added to recently.

On the checklist, there's all the comics you should totally have. Superior Spider-Man #17-19, 23, 27-31. Uncanny Avengers #14, 18-22, anyone?

But more than this, it's the fact that they have a list of trade-paperbacks and hardcovers too. They even have a list of 2099 guest appearances in non-2099 titles. A list of advertisements with 2099 in them! Action figures! Video games!

Seriously, this list may not be complete now, but it's basically the best list we've ever seen. It's got so much stuff...

For all those who know about (and those who don't) the 2099 UGR Fan Fic Group, it's time to join the free community. You can get access to discussions, post topics, communicate privately with other members of the community, respond to polls and participate, upload content, and access other special features.

Seriously, what's not to like? Talking about Spider-Man 2099 all day with other fans? For free? Yes, please.

As if you needed more incentive, the registered members see less advertisements! About time. And if you're worried about how long registration is, remember it's free to join, so you don't need to worry. Super short.

But the best part of joining is being able to join the forum, more specifically, the 2099 UGH Fanfics/Site and the General 2099 Discussion/Indie-2099 Projects Discussion. You can find a lot of great stuff on there!

That's right, a brand new comic out this May! Peter David and Will Sliney are at it again. This means the current Spider-Man 2099 comic will come to an end, and the story will continue in Secret Wars 2099.

Due out on the 27th, there's still a while to wait, but no worries! We have a sneak peek at the cover, by Dave Rapoza, and penciled by Sliney.

Yes, you read that right. As some of you may know, Marvel has been teasing quite a few storylines for summer, one of them being Future Imperfect. In this series, there was a nuclear war that wiped out most of the Earth’s super-humans allowing a future version of the Hulk - Maestro - to to seize control and rule. Of course, this led to a confrontation between Hulk and the Maestro. Only now, thanks to Peter David, it seems as though Spider-Man 2099 will be incorporated! The tease for the issue shows Maestro holding Spidey's head, and the caption on the bottom reads “Miguel O’Hara returns to the year 2099 to discover that his future is now… imperfect!”

Does this means more dreams are coming true? Possibly.

Back in 1992, Peter David and Rick Leonardi made a webcrawler, and guess what? It's back. Get ready for October 22, fans, because it's going to pick up right where issue #4 left off. Issue #5  will focus on Miguel O' Hara facing off with Morlun, being stuck in present-day New York, and making his way to 2099! I definitely can't wait, can you?

Amazing Spider-Man #1 is out today and it features a preview from Spider-Man 2099 #1 by Peter David, Will Sliney and Antonio Fabela.  The five page teaser gives a little insight to Miguel O'Hara's adjustment to living 85 years in the past and shows him dealing with some petty crime and a victim who doesn't want his help. Sliney's art and Fabela's colors look great, while David's story captures the fish-out-of-water situation that Spidey 2099 is dealing with. I'd highly recommend that you pick this up, for both the 2099 teaser and the main Spider-Man story.

First Minecraft and now Amazing Spider-Man 2. The video game for Amazing Spider-Man 2 will feature a large amount of unlockable suits that can be worn in the game, including Spider-Man 2099's. Take a look at some of the available suits below. Seems like a pretty nice selection. Which suit are you most looking forward to?

The cross-section of Spider-Man and Minecraft fans should be pretty happy to hear that a Marvel Spider-Man Skin Pack will be coming out for the XBOX 360 on April 30th. The pack will cost $1.99 and will include 35 different costumes skins, including a Spider-Man 2099 version. The pack will include multiple Spidey suits as well as other superheroes and some super-villains.

So by now we all know that Superior Spider-Man is no more and that Peter Parker is back, but at C2E2, Marvel showed off the panel to the right while discussing the upcoming Spider-Verse arc. That's clearly the Superior Spider-Man costume, but as Bleeding Cool pointed out, it looks like he's swinging through 2099. Do you guys have any theories as for this appearance?
